Brabantse Wal

A region with a unique cluster of biobased, maintenance, agro food and logistics at the place where Brabant coasts Zeeland.

The question

The municipalities of Steenbergen, Woensdrecht and Bergen op Zoom have formulated the wish that there should be an overarching program in terms of branding and marketing of the Brabantse Wal for residents, visitors and companies. The municipalities therefore wanted to explore how regional marketing can be realized in the most effective and efficient way. She also wants to pay attention to the marketing activities of existing organizations.

Our approach

We held discussions with councilors, civil servants and other important stakeholders in the area. We also conducted desk research into existing partnerships and visions already developed in the region.

The result

The result is a document in which the assignment in terms of destination marketing is stated, the organizational options that go with it and the advantages and disadvantages of each option. The preconditions for governance and success have also been specified. Finally, a proposal has been made for concrete follow-up steps in the process.
